- KREBS, Henry Died April 23, 2015 at Grand River Hospital following a long illness. Henry was the beloved husband of Marlene Katherina (Dietrich), beloved father of Lorri Katherina Krebs of Boston, Massachusetts and Henry Terrence (Terry) Krebs of North Bay. beloved grandfather of Justin, Holly. Tanner and Jackson. Best known for his Ali Baba Steak House chain. Henry was a pioneer in hospitality, owning restaurants. pubs and hotels throughout Waterloo, Kitchener. Whitby. Brampton. Cambridge. Guelph, Three Bridges, Stratford and London. Fond memories are held by many of his long-term customers, employees and the numerous students who got their first job experience at his establishments. A Paul Harris Award-winner from Rotary International, accolades from his Grand River Hospital fundraising efforts, as well as serving as Vice President of HoReCa International for many years are a few of his accomplishments.
