  DEATH OF MR. ANDREW WHITE - We very much regret to announce the death of Mr. Andrew White, blacksmith, of Galt. Mr. White for over a year had suffered from something resembling consumption and his death was not unexpected, although for some time before his last attack he seemed to be somewhat improving. About a fort night ago, however, serious symptoms showed themselves, and on Thursday evening last he breathed his last. He was a good mechanic and was successful in his business, bearing an excellent reputation as an honest, upright man. He leaves a wife and four children. Being a member of the Foresters Lodge, his remains were escorted to the Cemetery by the brotherhood with their Band and a large number of our townspeople, who desired to testify, so far as laid in their power, their respect for the deceased.
