- Abraham S. Stauffer, "the sixth son of David Stauffer, was born near the town of Waterloo, April 8th, 1855. He was raised in Waterloo County. Some years ago he went to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, where he entered into partnership with his brother. They are in the butchering and cattle business. He is married to Hattie Trucksell. They have no family."
