  At St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, on Wednesday, the 29th ult., at 9 o'clock, Jabez Cooper, of Galt, aged 52 years. Funeral, this (Friday) afternoon, at half-past 3 o'clock, from his late residence, South Water St., to Trinity Church Cemetery. Galt Reporter May 1 1885 pg 1 ____________________ Died at the Hospital There died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, Wednesday last, Mr. Jabez Cooper, for many years a resident of Galt, at the age of 52 years. For some time past Mr. Cooper has been afflicted with a running sore on his leg, and gradually his entire system became affected with the disease. Last Friday, we believe, he was removed from Galt to St. Joseph's Hospital in the hope that the treatment and care he would there experience might check the ravages of the disease. This hope was delusive, however, and he died as above stated on Wednesday. His funeral will take place this (Friday) afternoon, at half past 3 o'clock, from his late residence, South Water Street, to Trinity Church Cemetery. Galt Reporter May 1 1885 pg 1
