Notes |
- FATAL ACCIDENT IN GALT - On Sabbath evening last a little son of Mr. John G. McIntosh, night-watchman, wandered out of the his father's house, near Mr. Scott's planning factory, and in a few minutes after being missed was found dead in the creek just below the factory. As there was a severe bruise on the child's temple it is supposed that the poor little fellow had attempted to cross a small bridge spaning (sic) the water at the spot, and had fallen over on the rocks below. Dr. Ferguson was on hand to render assistance in a few minutes, but the poor child was quite dead. It was aged only some 13 months. The parents have the sympathy of their many friends in their sore trouble.
