- Mrs. Thomas Aikens, at the Toronto General Hospital, on Tuesday morning, December 9, 1952, in her 84th year. She was born in Puslinch Township, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Paddock. She lived in Galt most of her life. Mrs. Aikens was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Her husband predeceased her twenty-five years ago. Surviving are one son, William Aikens of Brockville; two sisters, Mrs. C. Kreager of Guelph; Mrs. William J. Aikens of Hespeler; and six grandchildren. A daughter, Gertrude, died in 1918 and a son, Wilson Aiken, was killed during the war of 1914-18. Mrs. Alex Smith of Brant Rd. S. is a niece. Service at the T. Little and Son Funeral Home on Thursday at 3: 30. Interment Hespeler Cemetery.
