    • Melvinah Stauffer, "the sixth daughter of David Stauffer, was born December 20th, 1861. She is married to John Wiegand, a teacher. They reside in the town of Berlin where she is engaged in giving instructions in sewing and teaching young ladies the art of cutting dresses by model. Their family consists of one child, a son named William."

      Mrs. Melvina Weigand

      Mrs. Melvina Wiegand of 64 Queen St. North, died today at the K-W Hospital following a brief illness. Widow of John Wiegand, she was 90. Mrs. Wiegand was born Dec. 20, 1861, in Woolwich Township, dlaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David H. Stauffer. She was the last surviving member of the family of 10 children. She was a member of Zion Evangelical U. B. Church and of the Ladies Aid Society, the wornen's Society of World Service and the Women's Christian Temperance Union. Surviving are one son, William, of Old Greenwich, Con., and five grandchildren. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon Saturday, then at Zion Church for funeral at 2 p.m. with interment in Calvary Cemetery, St. Jacobs. Rev. E. E. Hallman will officiate.
