  Maria Martin, "the eighth daughter of John and Anna (Weber) Martin, was born March 21st, 1849. On October 20th, 1867, she was married to Enoch, son of David D., and Anna (Musselman) Baumann. She died March 20th, 1870." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ______________________________ On the 20th of March, in Waterloo township, Waterloo Co., MARY, wife of Enoch BAUMAN, aged one day less than 21 years. She was a Sister in the Mennonite Church. She was buried on the 22nd at Christian Eby's burying ground, where Moses Bauman and Jos Hege, by the help of God, preached to a large concourse of people from Matt. 24: 34, 44 and Is. 40: 8. She was not sick any time. In the evening she prepared supper and the next morning she was a corpse Herald Of Truth - Volume VII, Number 5 - April, 1870, page 62-63
