  SUDDENLY STRICKEN DOWN Able to be About All Day - Death Came in the Evening - Mrs. E. J. Scott No More A sad death occurred Sunday night, when Mrs. E. J. Scott, passed away at her home, South Water street. She had been about all day, but at tea time she took a spell, resulting from heart trouble, from which she suffered. Her attack proved fatal. She lingered a few hours, then the breath of life left her. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart are living and she leaves a bereaved husband to lament her demise. The deceased who was in her 25th year, was of a most lovable disposition. She had many friends and the regret expressed at her death Is general. Life is fleeting and so it was with her brief though it was, she did much to make those about her happy. They will feel their low all the more and their trouble will be harder to bear, but there is divine help which Is to be had for the asking. The funeral took place from her father's residence, 117 South Water street, at 2.30 tomorrow afternoon, to Mount View cemetery. The Weekly Reformer 22 Jul 1897 pg 3
