  ABERLE, Mrs. Roy J. (Alma Rose) - Passed away on Monday, Aug. 3, 1987, at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, Alma Rose Aberle, aged 79 years, of 23 King St., Elmira. Beloved wife of Roy J. Aberle; dear mother of Elaine and her husband Earl Allen of Willowdale, Gerald and his wife Donna Marie of Toronto, Neil and his wife Leslie of Bond Head and Judith Anne and her husband Heinz Zuechner of Brampton; dear sister of Edwin and Esther Thur of Elmira; dear grandmother of Treva, Shawn, Jeffrey and Tace Aberle, Margot and Malcolm Aberle and Eric and Paul Zuechner. She was predeceased by one son, Glen LeRoy; five brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Aberle was born in Golden Lake, Ont. and moved to the Elmira area at the age of five. Following her schooling here, she attended North Bay Normal school and taught for three years in Haliburton District. She continued her teaching career at Balsam Grove school, near Elmira. Her many and varied interests included music, horticulture and education. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Wednesday. Aug. 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira, on Thursday.
