- Mary Morrissey on the 30th ult., a boy and girl named Morrissey, children of a labourer, residing at New Hope, were crossing Mr. Hespeler's dam when the ice broke, and let the boy through. The sister, named Mary, went to the rescue, and fell in herself. The boy was rescued by a man named Sipe, but the girl, age, 13 was drowned. Galt Reporter
