Snyder.-Nancy, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Benjamin Rudy, was born in Woolwich Twp., Ont., Sept. 19, 1867; died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, Aug. 24, 1947; aged 79 y. 11 m. 5 d. Death resulted from cerebral thrombosis. In 1923 she was married to Noah B. Snyder, who predeceased her in 1942. Surviving are one stepson (Alvin, Preston, Ont.), 2 brothers (William, Centerville, Ont.; and Jeremiah, Waterloo, Ont.), 2 sisters (Hannah-Mrs. Simeon Gingrich, Kitchener, Ont.; and Mrs. Lucy Blodgett, Rochester, N. Y.). Two brothers (Ellias and Josiah) and 4 sisters (Barbara-Mrs. Aaron Betzner, Sarah_Mrs. Caleb Shelley, Magadalena-Mrs. Edward Kaufman, and Eleanor-Mrs. Joe Porn) predeceased her. She was a member of the Mennonite Church. During the last years of her life she was a cheerful guest of the Braeside Home, Preston, Ont. Funeral services were held Aug. 26 at the Hagey Mennonite Church, Preston. Interment was made in the Cressman Mennonite Cemetery, Breslau, Ont. Merle Shantz and Harold Groh were in charge of the services.

Mrs. Nancy Snyder
A member of the Hagey Mennonite Church. Preston and the widow of the late Noah B. Snyder. Mrs. Nancy Snyder, died at the K-W Hospital yesterday after a lingering illness. She was 79. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Rudy, Mrs. Snyder was born Sept, 19, 1867, in Woolwich Township. Her husband, Noah B. Snyder died Sept 2, 1942. They were married in 1923. Mrs. Snyder is survived by one step-son, Alvin of Preston; two brothers, William Rudy, Centreville, and Jeremiah Rudy, Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. Simon Gingrich, Kitchener, and Mrs. Lucy Blodgett, Rochester, N.Y. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 o'clock at the Hagey Mennonite Church, Preston. Burial will be in the Cressman Mennonite Cemetery, Breslau. The Rev. Merle Shantz will officiate at the service. The remains are resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Tuesday, when the body will be taken to the church for the service.
