  WEBSTER, EMIL HENRY first appeared in the Preston News of the Dumfries Reformer on October 23, 1890 in a notice which said he had left for New York to take postgraduate work at Bellevue Hospital. This was the year he graduated from Trinity University, Toronto. In August 1891 he was visiting parents and friends in Preston, and in June 1894 he was visiting New York. He was listed in Preston in 1892, in Alaska in 1903 to 1907, and in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan from 1908. It is questionable whether he ever practised in Preston. Dr. Alexander D. Campbell, Doctors in Waterloo County 1852-1925, 1986 ________________ Well-Known Physician Dies. Sault Ste. Marie--Dr. Emil Henry Webster, 75, known to hundreds Upper Peninsula citizens as physician, philosopher and friend, died his home, Friday. Born March 9, 1869, at Preston, Ont, Dr. Webster came to Chippewa county before the turn of the century arid was a pioneer in spirit as well as in fact. He practiced medicine at Bay. Mills before moving to the Sault. He received his M. B. at Toronto and his M. D. at Trinity College Medicine in that city.
