  CHARLES HEIPEL APPOINTED CLERK OF WILMOT TP. A special meeting of the Township Council of Wilmot was held in Baden on Saturday afternoon. The resignation of Samuel Cassel now clerk of Waterloo County, as clerk of Wilmot Township was accepted and Charles Heipel was appointed as his successor to fill the vacancy. Mr. Heipel is a highly educated man and well fitted for the position having taught in the Public School in Philpsburg and was principal of an important business college in the western Part of United States. Tiring of his profession he returned to the occupation of his boyhood days and is now residing on a farm near Philipsburg. He has a wide circle of friends who extend to him their hearty wishes for his future success in the new position of which he is deserving. 1916
