Jeremy Rudy, 74, died suddenly last night at his residence, 152 Glasgow St. An employee of the CPR Express Company for about 25 years he retired seven years ago. He was a member of Calvary Memorial Evangelical UB Church. A former resident of Guernsey, Sask. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Rudy. His marriage to the former Catherine Schweitzer, who survives, took place at Petersburg, Jan. 30, 1907.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. E.D. (Mildred) Hahn, Hamilton, and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Blodgett, Rochester, N.Y.
The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. Interment will be made at the Waterloo Mennonite Cemetery. Rev. A.E. Pletch will be in charge of the service assisted by Rev. .F. Barthel.
