    • On the 19th of July, in Wadsworth Township, Medina Co., Ohio, of general debility, BARBARA GEISINGER, aged 99 years, 10 months and 20 days. Her maiden name was Kulp. She was born in Lehigh Co., Pa., on the 19th of August, 1767, She was married in her native State on the 5th of October 1785. Soon after her marriage, she joined the Mennonite Church, of which she was a faithful member until her death. In the spring of 1800, she removed with her family to Canada, where, after a residence of five years, her husband was killed by the falling of a tree. Since that time, a period of 62 hears, she lived a widow. She removed to Wadsworth Township, Medina County, Ohio, about 50 years ago, where she lived with her daughter, wife of John Long, deceased. Her memory was unusually retentive until within the last year, when it began gradually to fail. During the last six weeks of her life, she was confined to her bed. Her funeral sermon was preached by _______ Sutton and Abm. Rohrer, from 1 Peter 1: 13. She had eight children, five of whom are still living, and were present at her funeral, the oldest being 81 years, and the youngest 68 years of age. She had, also, as near as could be ascertained, 75 grand-children, of whom 60 are still living, 381great-grand-children, of whom 304 are still living and 62 great-great-grand-children of whom 52 are still living. The whole number of her posterity is 526, of whom 421 are still living.
