    • CHAMPLIN, Marion Joan (Bazett) - Peacefully at home on Monday, September 10, 2012, at 89 years of age. Beloved wife of the late James Champlin (Flying Officer RCAF and Commander USN). Predeceased by her brother Edward Bazett and by her daughter-in-law Caroline. Beloved mother of Elizabeth (Michael Gray), Marion (Darrel Jensen), Edward (Linda Mahler), and Minota (Laurence Austin). Dear grandmother of Dagmar (Troy Restell) and Matthew Jensen (Laurence), Kit and Alex Champlin, and Robert, Laura and Mary Austin. Esteemed "GG" of Brooklyn and Colton Restell, and Marcus, Thomas and Arthur Jensen. Centre of our universe, lover of books, music and furry friends, she was always ready to listen and a source of undying love. Sincere thanks to Vlad for the ballet afternoons which she absolutely adored and to Elizabeth for her constant care and devotion. A private family funeral service was held in the Chapel of St. James- the-Less on Friday, September 14th. Flowers gratefully declined.
