CARNATION DAY-- Mary Martin of 84 Waverly Rd., Kitchener, displays some of the hundresds of carnations that will be sold as Flowers of Hope in the Twin Cities from today until Saturday as a fund-raising project for the Multiple Scelosis society. She was chosen MS mother of the year by the society's Waterloo chapter

MARTIN MARY--- At the Kitchener Waterloo Hospital in Kitchener on Sunday, April 30, 1989, aged 59 years of 43 Waverly Rd., Kitchener. Mrs. Martin was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and the Anglican Church women. She had been employed at St. Mary's Hospital for over 10 years. Dear mother of Barbara and her husband Donald Gillespie of Kitchener and George Martin and his wife Debra of New Hamburg. She is also lovingly remembered by four grandchildren, Jennifer, and Edward Martin, Amanda and Jocelyn Gillespie. Predeceased by her husband George Martin and her parents, Florence and Harry Dower. Mrs. Martin's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home 171 King Street South, Waterloo, this evening from 7-9 p.m. and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev Hugh F. Laidlaw officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery Kitchener.
