      William K. Lantz on Monday received the sad news of the death of his sister, Mrs. Joseph Bear, which took place in the hospital in Mobile, Alabama on February 1, 1912. Her body was interred in Deer Park Cemetery, Alabama, on Saturday, the 3rd. Mrs. Bear was well known here, having lived with her parents on Coles' Mill Rd. up to her marriage, after which she and her husband resided in Berlin, Montreal and Chicago, later going to Alabama, where they have been engaged in fruit farming. She was 61 years of age and leaves a number of brothers and sisters.

      - Information from the marriage certificate: Daughter of Christian and Sophia Lantz. Joseph Bear was the son of Joseph and Nancy Bear.
