- Passed Away At Kitchener, on Saturday July 20th, 1935 Marie Smith Aged 60 years, 1 month and 20 days. The Funeral Will take place from the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Smith, 42 Ellen St. West, Kitchener on Tuesday July 23rd at 2.00 o'clock p.m. to St. Matthew's Luth. Church Benton St. Kitchener for Service at 2.30 o'clock, and thence to the Woodland cemetery for burial. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation

MISS MARIE SMITH
Miss Marie Smith, well known local resident, died at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith, 42 Ellen street west, on Saturday at the age of 60. Born in Troy, N. Y., she was brought to this country at the age of six weeks. Having resided in Kitchener for many years, she was well known here, and was active in the Ladies' Ald and Women's Missionary Society of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church of which she was a member. For a number of years she had been a forelady at the Merchants' Rubber Factory, but of late she had occupied herself keeping house for her parents. Surviving her are her aged parents; three brothers, Oscar of St. Jacobs, Otto of Kitchener, and Charles of New Hamburg; five sisters, Mrs. E. B. Bowman, Mrs. Herman Totzke, Mrs. A. W. Scheif- ele and Miss Frieda Smith, all of Kitchener, and Mrs. O. J. Schierholtz, Toronto.
The funeral will be held tomorrow with a private service at the residence at two o'clock, and a public service at St. Matthew's church at 2.30. Rev. C. S. Roberts of Waterloo will be in charge. Interment will be made at Woodland cemetery.
