- WOODWARD, ALBERT FRANKLIN was born in Hawkesville on August 4, 1856. His father was Eben Woorward of Hawkesville. He graduated in medicine from Trinity Medical College in 1885, and probably began to practice in Hawkesville in that year. He was appointed Medical Officer of Health in 1886.
In 1896 he sold out to Dr. More, and went to New York for postgraduate studies. He returned to Canada and practiced in London for some years. He next went to Detroit where he practised as a specialist in diseases of the eye. He was located for a number of years at Detroit, and died on February 19. 1936 in the Highland Park, Michigan, General Hospital.

DR. ALBERT F. WOODWARD
Dr. Albert F. Woodward, a native of Hawkesville, who conducted medical practice in that village for few years, died at him home in Highland Park, Detroit, Wednesday. He was in his 78th year.
Dr. Woodward was born In Hawkesville and after graduation in medicine, practised there for a few years, He took up post gradurate work in New York, and returned opened practice in London After some years in London, he moved to Detroit where he been engaged an eye specialist. He resided in Detroit for about 20 years.
He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eben Woodward of Hawkesville.
A Funeral under Masonic auspices was held in Detroit today. The remains will arrive Kitchener at 12 o'clock. noon morrow from Detroit and the funeral will take place from the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home at 1 o'clock Interment will be made at Mount Hope, cemetery. The service locally also under Masonic auspices, with Rev. E. Val. Tition, pastor of First United Church, Waterloo. assisting.
