  Albert Ruler (By Chronicle Correspondent) YATTON.Mr. Albert Ruler, a resident of Yatton section for the past forty-one years passed away on Friday, Dec. 1st, at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Bert Gardiner of Harriston. The deceased was born in Wellesley township near Hawkesville about 72 years ago and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Ruler. The pallbearers were C. Wright, Newton; Wilfred Stevens, Parker; Borden Sobye, Marten; W. King, Alma; Morley Jackson, Yatton and Clarence Stone, Alma. He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow, formerly Clara Jackson of Yatton, two daughters, Mrs. Norman Stevens of Hawkesville and Mrs. Clark Perkin of Toronto. six grandchildren and one great grandchild, also one brother.. Mr. 'George Ruler of Linwood. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from the home of Mr. Bert Gardier to the Harriston cemetery for Interment. Waterloo Chronicle Dec 8 1939 pg 3
