    • Amos Shelly, "was born in Butler County, Pennsylvania, April 15th, 1821. On May 1st, 1850, he was married to Salome H. Cook who was born July 24th, 1831. For many years they resided on the farm owned until lately by Andrew Weber where he was engaged in farming. From here they moved to Berlin where he died February 8th, 1877."
