  Mrs. Robert McCulloch. At about five o'clock in the evening she left her home in her usual health and spirits to spend a few hours with her daughter, Mrs. E. G. Winn, who resides shout half a mile north of the village. Leaving there in company with a friend about 8 o'clock she had made about half the distance home when she was taken suddenly ill with paralysis of the heart. Medical aid was at once summoned and she was carried into a neighbor's but in spite of all efforts she passed away in a few minutes, before any member of the family could reach her. The burial took place on Monday and the crowded church bore fit testimony to the esteem in which she was held, friends from far and near coming to pay the last tribute to their departed friend. Deceased was 58 years of age, and a staunch Presbyterian. The early part of her life was spent in the vicinity of Galt but during the past 30 years together with her husband she was a resident of this place. She leaves a husband and family of two sons and three daughters to mourn her loss. As a loving wife and mother, she will be sadly missed not alone by those o dear to her. but by every individual, old and young in the village as she had a kindly word for all Deep sympathy is felt by all for the af flicted ones, still in their deep affliction they must ever find consolation in the thought "she has gone to be with Jesus" Waterloo County Chronicle 29 Nov 1894, p. 1
