    • John Wiederhold, 77 years old, a pioneer resident of Huron county, died Tuesday morning at this home, 654 Bay street. Mr. and Mrs. Wiederhold were among the first settlers in the vicinity of Elkton, having moved to a farm near there in 1885. Mr. Wiederhold was born in Perth county, Ontario, January 7, 1845. He was married to Miss Lovina Graybiel there in 1871. They lived in Canada until 1885, when they came to Huron county. He was a member of the Evangelical church. He leaves his widow and seven children: Peter Wiederold, Detroit; George Wiederhold, Bridgeport; Jacob Wiederhold and Morley Wiederhold, Turner, Mich.; Alexander Wiederhold, Sterling, Mich., Moses Wiederhold, Elkton, Mich.; and Mrs. Edmund Schram, Detroit. He also leaves two brothers and two sisters, Saul Wiederhold and Mrs. Eliza Thares of Canada, and Mrs. Catherine Smith of Mancelona, Mich. The funeral will take place Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from the home. Rev. Harold N. Bater will officiate and burial will be at Elkton, Mich.
