Milton DeMeuleneare from Bridgeport worked as a tool and die maker at Electrohome Limited in the early 1940s. During the Second World War, DeMeuleneare served overseas with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. After the war, he returned to work at Electrohome.

    • DeMEULENEARE, Milton Henry Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Saturday, August 31, 2013, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Bernice (Stahle) for 64 years. Loved father of Nancy Rotozinski (Bob), Brent (Tisha), Judy Mendicino (Vince). Cherished grandfather of Nathan, Melissa Kwiatkowski (Andy), Joel Rotozinski, Matthew and David Mendicino and great-grandfather of Hania and Lucia Kwiatkowski. Dear brother of Harry and predeceased by sisters Mary Massey and Flossie Voisin and daughter-in-law Pamela (Rothwell). Lovingly remembered for his special bond with extended family, in-laws and friends. Born and raised in Bridgeport. Served overseas with RCEME in WWII. A tool and die maker by trade at Electrohome and MTD. Faithful member of Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly for over 30 years. Milt's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 and Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly (395 King St., N. Waterloo) on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly or the Heart and Stroke Foundation (cards available at the funeral home).
