    • Frederick Foerster

      A well known resident of the northern part of the county passed away last evening in the person of Frederick Foerster, age 83[?] years, who died at his home in Heidelberg after an extended illness. The deceased was a native of the district of St. Clements and had remained on the old homestead for many years, retiring from farming about [unreadable] years ago. He was a faithful and valuable member of the Heidelberg Lutheran church being one of those who [unreadable] with the [unreadable] of the [unreadable]. He was also a former [unreadable] of the church. Surviving him are his wife [unreadable] Ludwig and four sons and one daughter who are John of [unreadable], George and Robert of Vancouver, B.C., Robert of [unreadable] Mich., and Mathilda at home. There are also two sisters of the deceased. Mrs. Frederick Meyer of South Bend, Indiana, and Mrs. George Schneider residing near Philipsburg. Three brothers died last year. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.1a
