Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ___________ Her tombstone has her husband as Jonas B. Martin. _____________ MRS. JONAS B. MARTIN Mrs. Jonas B. Martin, 90, died Sun-day at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alvin Martin, R.R. 3, Waterloo, after a short illness. A daughter of the late Jonathan Sittler and Barbara Kinzie she was born at Waterloo Township, Sept. 6, 1862. On November 11, 1880 she married the late Noah Bauman who died in 1897. Her second marriage to Jonas Martin, who predeceased her in 1937, took place in 1898. Surviving are two sons, Norman and Amos, both of Elmira; four daughters, Mrs. Amos B. (Alvina) Martin, West Montrose; Mrs. Oliver (Susannah) Shantz, Mrs. Amsey (Sarah) Martin, both of Wallenstein; and Mrs. Alvin F. (Leah) Martin, R.R. 3, Waterloo; one sister, Mrs. Menno Martin, Woolwich Township; two brothers, Joseph, of Alberta, and Noah, Waterloo. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and 33 great-grand-children. Two daughters and one step-son predeceased her. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Home until Tuesday when removal was made to the home of her son Amos S. Martin, R.R. 1, Elmira, where a service was held at 9 a.m. Wednesday followed by a service at the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
