WELLESLEY-Charles W. Stahle, 78, died today at his home here. Born in December, 1876, he was a son of the late John Stahle and his wife, the former Frederica Hohenstein. He was a blacksmith for over 62 years. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church here.
Surviving are a son, Arthur of Detroit; a daughter, Mrs. Delton (Florence) Bergey of Wellesley; three brothers Fred of Ohio, John of Waterloo and Bertram of Hanover; two sisters, Mrs. Alvin Thomas of St. Jacobs and Mrs. William Gross of Kitchener. There are four grandchildren. His wife, the former Florence Djngwall and four brothers predeceased hi.
The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home until Monday at one p.m., when removal will be made to First St Paul's Lutheran Church where the funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Rev. Walter Heinze will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
