  DEATH OF MRS. MORTON,-The sad news was received with deep regret this afternoon that Mrs. Morton had died very suddenly. She has enjoyed good health till about a week ago when she was taken sick with inflammation on the lungs. Deceased was highly respected by all. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the surrounding community. Waterloo County Chronicle, 3 Oct 1895, p. 1 ________________ CROSSHILL OBITUARY.-The funeral of the late Mrs. Dr. Morton of Wellesley took place last Thursday. The remains were brought to the church in Crosshill thence to the cemetery. The church which had been very beautifully draped was filled, large numbers not being able to obtain standing room. Revds. Ward, Gunn and Wright took part in the service. The sympathy of friends in our community is extended to the sorrowing relatives. Praise is deserved by the ladies who took part in draping the church.
