Notes |
- DEATH OF MRS. FREEBORN
A sad death occurred here on Wednesday forenoon, when Janet, beloved wife of Mr. Andrew Freeborn, was called away. She was in failing health for some time and her death was not unexpected. Last year she spent several months in the West in the hope of regaining her health. Mrs. Freeborn was a daughter of Mr. A. B. Robertson, of Wellesley and was in her 42nd year. She has been a resident of this town for about three years and had many friends, who greatly regret her early demise. She was member of the Methodist Church. Besides her sorrowing husband she leaves one little daughter to mourn her. Another child passed away over a year ago. The funeral will take place this afternoon. Service will be held at the house at 1 o'clock and interment will take place in the Hampstead Cemetery. Mr. Freeborn has the sympathy of his many friends in his sad loss.
