- JANTZI, Raymond W.On Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1979, in Oxford County, as a result of a hunting accident, Raymond Wilfred John Jantzi, of Route 2, Wellesley. He was born in Wellesley 40 years ago.
Dear son of Ezra and Katie Jantzi, of Route 2, Wellesley, he farmed near Wellesley all his life. A member of Maple View Mennonite Church. He farmed in Wellesley Township retiring in 1965. Beloved husband of the former Edna Jantzi; dear father of Calvin, Wayne, Myrna and Maxine, all at home; brother of Gerald of Route 2, Wellesley, Marlene (Mrs. Floyd Martin) of Elmira and Reta, (Mrs. Enos Gerber) of Route 1, Milverton.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, after 2 p.m. Thursday. At noon Friday, Nov. 9 the remains will be removed to the Maple view Mennonite Church for the the funeral service at 2: 30. Rev. Alvin Leis and Jacob Roes will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Jantzi.- Raymond W., son of Ezra N. and Katie (Lichty) Jantzi, was born in Wellesley Twp., Ont., Dec. 1, 1938; died on Nov. 6, 1979; aged 40 y. On June 4, 1960, he was married to Edna Jantzi, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Calvin and Wayne), 2 daughters (Myrna and Maxine), one brother (Gerald), and 2 sisters (Marlene-Mrs. Floyd Martin and Reta-Mrs. Enos Gerber). He was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Nov. 9, in charge of Jacob Roes, Alvin Leis, and Fred Augsburger; interment in adjoining cemetery.
