  POMMER, Dora - Peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Dora (Knoblauch) Pommer, in her 82nd year of Linwood. Beloved wife of the late Murray Pommer (1996).Loving mother of Robert "Bob' and Elaine Pommer of Collingwood. Fondly remembered by her two grandsons, Eric and Craig Pommer, both of Toronto; dear sister of Thelma Cotrell of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ruby Gross of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Edith Knoblauch and four brothers, Earl, Howard, Percy and Gordon. Along with her husband Murray, Dora owned and operated Pommer's Bakery in Linwood for many years. She was a faithful member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Linwood. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira tonight (Friday) from 7-9 pm. At 11 am Saturday transfer will be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church, Linwood for funeral service at 1 pm, with Rev. Mark Urquhart officiating followed by interment in St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery. In her memory, donations to St. Peters Lutheran Church, Linwood would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. The Record Newspaper 8 Aug 2002
