    • SCHWARTZENTRUBER, Arthur After a full life, Art passed away at Lisaard House on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the age of 87. Art was the eldest of 14 children of the late Simon and Laura (Jutzi) Schwartzentruber. Beloved husband of Pauline (Martin) for 61 years, loving father of Tom Schwartzentruber and his wife Nadine, and proud grandpa of Michael and Laura. He is survived by his brothers Nyle (Jean), Baden; Wayne (Debbie), London; and his sisters Leona Lichty, Monetville; Reta (Vern) Baker, Meaford; Ruth (Bob) Boettger, Kitchener; Arlene (Greg) Naumann, Baden; sisters-in-law Noella, Sudbury; Janet, Vancouver; and many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by brothers Ray, Glen, Simon Jr., Elverne, Clare; sisters Ellen (Messner) and Erma (Tucker); and in-laws Noah Lichty, Roy Tucker, Glen Cole, Joan Schwartzentruber, Gale Schwartzentruber. Art retired from The Canadian Blower and Forge with more than 30 years of service. He was an accomplished handy man who enjoyed wood working, fishing, and gardening. Art was also a self-taught musician and played multiple instruments. Cremation has taken place. Art's family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 10-10:45 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Room. A private family interment at Bridgeport Memorial Cemetery, Kitchener will follow the reception.
