    • Aged Resident Passes.

      There passed away at the home of her son, Mr. Stuart Lavery, Margaret Williams, beloved wife of the late Meredith Lavery, in her 76th year. The deceased was born in Mornington Township, Perth County. Fifty-four years ago she was married by the Rev. Mr. Norris at the Presbyterian manse, Glenallan, and since has resided on the townline east of Dorking.

      The marriage was blessed with the following children: Stuart of Dorking, Graham of Toronto, Wilbert of Listowel, Meredith of Listowel, Ralph of Dorking, Gertrude at home, Edna of Moorefield, Pemberton of Dorking, Margaret (Mrs. George Murray) of Moorefield, Earl, killed in France, Stanley of Fergus. The funeral was held from the home of her son, Stuart on Wednesday afternoon. Services were conducted at the house and graveside by Rev. B. Eyre, B.A., pastor of Knox United Church, Glenallan. The following floral tributes were received.

      Pillow, the family; pillow, Mr. and Mrs. Graham Lavery and family; - wreath, Beatty Bros., Fergus; sprays, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Jerymn, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Malcolmn, Pres. Ladies' Aid, Moorefield, Mr. and Mrs. G. Rahn. The pall-bearers were six sons, Stuart, Graham, Wilbert, Ralph, Pemberton and Stanley.
