  BREITHAUPT, Gladys Eileen (nee Baechler)- Suddenly and peacefully, at Victoria Place Retirement Residence. Kitchener on Thursday, August 5, 2009, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Albert Breithaupt. Mrs. Breithaupt was the last surviving child of the late Susanna Sommer and Andrew Baechler of Tavistock. Gladys is predeceased by her sisters Clara Cowan (George), Emma Harkness (Andrew), Ivy Sare (Becher), and her brothers Norman - (Sally), Joseph (Isabel), Wesley (Dorothy) and Stan (Cela) Baechler. Gladys was a beloved and respected member of the extended Breithaupt family, and a loved Aunt of many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at David MacLeod Funeral Home, 617 King St. N., Waterloo on Sunday, August 8, 2004 from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial and Committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Rev. George Sim officiating. A reception for a time of fellowship will follow the memorial service. Interment will be held at Grace United Cemetery, Tavistock.
