  TABBERT, Catherine - Peacefully, on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at Chateau Gardens, Elmira, Catherine Tabbert, in her 98th year, of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Earl Tabbert (1953). Loving and devoted mother of Charlotte and Eugene Read, Jack and Fern Tabbert, all of Elmira; fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Christine (Gordon) Grose, Cathy (Paul) Read-Wilson, Philip (Susan) Read, Wil Tabbert (Louise Rodrigue) and great-grandchildren, Adam, Troy, Kyle and Rylan Grose, Kiri-Ann, Nevin and Jared Wilson, Tyler, Justin and Kaitlyn Read; sister-in-law of Gladys Pearce and Margaret Pearce. Catherine was the last surviving member of her family, having been predeceased by her parents, Albert and Charlotte (Sherwood) Pearce, five sisters and three brothers Mrs Tabbert taught public school in Wellesley township for a number of years retiring in 1967 The family will receive friends and relations at the Dreisinger Funeral Home.
