  Wilken, Lillian A. (Mrs. Herbert) - On Friday, Sept. 29, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital, Lillian (Moore) Wilken, in her 87th year, of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Wilken. Loving mother of Lois and Gerald Slimmon of West Montrose, Gerald (Chuck) Wilken and Elaine Maziarz of West Montrose, Jane Arbic of Fort McMurray, Alta., Ted Wilken and Velda of Waterloo. Fondly remembered by her five grandchildren, Lisa Wilken, Terry and Tim Arbic, Brian Slimmon and Stacey Wilken and great-grandson, Brandan Slimmon. Sister of Beatrice Brown of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Florence Pals of North Ridgeville, Ohio. Predeceased by two brothers, Cecil (Cy) Moore and Robert Moore. Lillian was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the E.L.W., the Elmira Horticultural Society, the Auxiliary of Chateau Gardens Nursing Home and an active member at the Senior Citizens' Centre. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Monday, transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wendell Grahlman officiating. Interment St. James Lutheran Cemetery. In her memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario may be made as expressions of sympathy.
