  A fixture in downtown Hespeler for decades, Tom passed away February 17, 2024 in his 75th year at Hospice Wellington after a short illness. Tom operated Maskerade Manor Costume Store in the downtown since 1986. Tom is survived by his brothers, Tim and James (Shawna); by his nephew, Alex (Aleesha); and nieces, Micaela (Andrew); Connie (Chris), Shanna, and Jerriann. Predeceased by his parents Connie and Cliff and brother Jerry. Tom's second family was the Preston Figure Skating Club. Tom volunteered and dedicated hours of his time over a span of 60 years; involved in the creation of music for numerous competitions and shows as well as the creation of props, lighting, special effects and pyrotechnics that set the annual PFSC gala above other skating club shows. Tom parlayed this experience into a nation-wide tour as stage manager for Champions on Ice. A private internment has taken place at Memory Gardens. Tom will be remembered at a pubic celebration of life on March 23rd from 1 to 4 P.M. at the Four Fathers Brewery (125 Guelph Ave, Cambridge).
