  • Notes
    • There passed away in Elmira last Saturday, after a short illness of pneumonia, the well-known Mill Street Liveryman, Mr. Joseph A. Coote. Deceased conducted a hotel at Glenallan for a number of years. A couple of years ago he bought out Steuernagel's livery business and moved to Elmira. A sorrowing widow and daughter mourn the loss of a kind and indulgent husband and father, and they have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. Several brothers also survive the deceased.

The funeral was held on Monday, ? taking place at ?. Among those that attended the funeral were Mr. George Byron, of Hamilton, Mrs. W. Boyd and Alex Ferguson, of Burlington.
