      Suffering a stroke Monday morning. George Latsch 469 Wendell avenue, passed away at his home early that evening Deceased, who was a cobbler by trade when a young man, farmed at Centreville for many years and was an auctioneer for ten years. He had been in failing health for some time. He was in his 84th year, being born at Centreville, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Latsch.

      Surviving are his wife, nee Katherine Sauder, three sons, George of near Kitchener, Orphen A Latsch, Kitchener, and Fernando P. of Edmonton, Alta. Eight grand-children and 18 great grandchildren also survive with one sister, Mrs. William Dolph Rochester, N. Y

      The remains will be interred in Riverside Cemetery at Freeport on Thursday afternoon following services at his home at 2 o'clock and at Centreville U.B. Church at 2.40 pm. Rev. S. Swartz and Res. Mr. Sider will officiates (Please omit flowers).
