    • Funeral service for Mrs. Harold Ellis of Maryborough Township, who died March 29 at K-W hospital, after a brief illness, was held April 1, at Moorefield United Church.

      Entombment was in Bethesda cemetery. Rev. Gerald MecMechan officiated.

      Mrs. Ellis, 36, was the former Evelyn Irene Gowing. She was born at Glen Allan and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morley Gowing. She was a member of Moorefield United church and the United church women.

      Surviving are her husband; two sons, Garry and Paul, both at home; six brothers, Glen of Arthur, Keith of Wallenstein, Lyle of Kitchener, Douglas of Poole, Neil and Wayne, both of Glen Allan; four sisters, Bernice and Mrs. Arthur (Doris) Woino- ski, both of Waterloo, Mrs. Ross (Dorothy) Jackson of Rothsay, and Lois of Glen Allan. She was predeceased by one son, Vaughan.
