  HAIG, Irene (nee Sheldon) - Passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Elwood Haig of Waterloo. Loving mother of Sheldon Haig and his wife Pam of Cambridge, Brian Haig and his wife Sue of Waterloo and Michael Haig and his wife Tabitha of Waterloo. Proud grandmother of Matthew and his wife Melissa, Stephanie, Robyn, Chad, and his wife Becky and Crystal. Cherished great-grandmother of Tyson. Dear sister of Pearl Garratt of Ingersoll. Predeceased by two brothers, Ben and Fred Sheldon. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen St. E., Waterloo on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 1 p.m. Interment at Parkview cemetery , Waterloo. Memorial donations to Church of the Holy Saviour would be appreciated and may be made by contacting the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener at 745-9495.
