  BECHTEL, Velma Mae - At Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1988, following a brief illness, Velma Bechtel, of Bridge Street, New Dundee, and formerly of Sheffield, Ont., in her 72nd year. Beloved and cherished wife for over 50 years of Wilbert and loving mother of Faye Bechtel of Kitchener, Robert Bechtel and his wife Dorothy of New Dundee. Also lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and her son, Bruce. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Friday at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev. Ronald. Matthews officiating. Interment Union cemetery, New Dundee. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
