- Fisher, Alfred Gordon - Gordon passed away, peacefully, at Leisureworld Nursing Home, in Gravenhurst, on Wednesday, July 3, 2002, in his 85th year. Faithful husband of Gertrude (Warnholtz) for 59 years; loving father of Robert and his wife Nancy, Jim, Anne and her husband Bob Worts, Glenn and his wife Chris, Susan and her husband Gary Revis, Gordie and his wife Cheryl; dear grampa of Steven, Michelle, Nichole, Scott, Todd, Sandra, Becky, Karla, Michael, Kristi, Jesse, Rachel, Joel, Derrick, David and Hannah. Special great-grampa to Devon, Paige, Graydon, Zaira, Caleb, Isaiah, Hannah, Brendan, Jessica, Tyler, Sarta, Kendra, Ainsley, Courtney and Nathaniel. Predeceased by parents, Herbert and Ethel; sister, Marjorie and brother, Carmen. Survived by sisters, Jean Lalonde and Audrey Ward. Gordon was a longtime employee of the Ford Motor Company of Oakville and the Bluebird Bus Company of Fort Valley, Georgia. He was an avid bike rider and an inventor of all terrain vehicles. Friends will be received by family from 2-44 and 7-9 p.m. today (Friday) at the Dale Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge (519) 658-9366. The funeral service will be conducted at the same place on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Alzheimer Society.
