  • Notes 
    • The death occurred yesterday at two p.m., at the Galt hospital, of Mr. Charles Wirsching. Mr. Wirshing, who was a resident of Preston for the past sixty-six years, was well known, and in his death the town loses one of its oldest citizens. The family of the deceased consists of three sons and five daughters viz., John, Edward and Henry of town; Mrs. Mast, Michigan; Mrs. Merkel, of Hamilton; Mrs. Emil Ewald, Waterloo; Miss Maggie Hamilton, and Mrs. Kelonky, Burlington. The funeral will be held from the home of his son, Mr. John Wirsching on Wednesday at two p.m., interment to take place at Preston cemetery.
