    • MRS. FRED C. HALBERSTADT.

The funeral of the late Minnie Werlich, beloved wife of Fred C. Halberstadt, took place on Sunday afternoon from the late residence, 216 Chatham street, with interment Mount Hope cemetery.

There was a very large attendance of friends and relatives who came to pay respect to one beloved by all who knew her. A beautiful and impressive service at the house was conducted by Rev. J. Y. Mackinnon of Zion church, who spoke feelingly of the Christian character of the deceased, and her kindly and loving disposition which endeared ber to who came in contact with her.

During the service a quartet, "Jesus Lover of My Soul" was sung by Zion church quartet, Mrs. Dorothy Belle Jones, Mrs. Stickland Greenwood, Walter Carpenter and George Sweet with H. K. Jordan accompanying.

The pallbearers were three sons-in-law, two grandsons, and one nephew: Charles Norwood, Herbert Ham. George White, Lonnie Jones, Clarence Norwood and Reg. Werlich. The floral tributes were many and very beautiful. Relatives and friends were present from Galt, Preston, Kitchener, Hamilton, Windsor and Detroit..
