    • Mrs. Anna W. Clavel

      Mrs. Anna Werlich Clavel, 75, mother of Martin Clavel of the Gourlay and Clavel Insurance Company, Windsor, died last night at her home at 9 Reedmere avenue, Riverside.

      Martin Clavel, with his partner, James Gourlay, have been prominent insurance agents in Windsor for the past 20 years.

      Mrs. Clavel, widow of Isadore, had been residing in this district since the death of her husband in Bartonville, Wentworth County, six years ago.

      Born at Preston, Mrs. Clavel had lived the greater part of her life in Bartonville. She had been in ill health only a short while.

      Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James Gourlay, of Riverside; and two sons, William, of Bartonville, and Martin, of Windsor.

      The body will rest at the Morris Funeral Home, 1624 Wyandotte street east, until tomorrow morning, when it will be transferred to Bartonville for services at St. Mary's Anglican Church on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Stoney Creek Cemetery.
