  LAST TRIBUTE TO LATE MR. WERLICH MANY ATTEND FUNERAL SERVICES OF LOCAL, MANUFACTURER Preston citizens of all walks of life paid final tribute to the late John Werlich, who died suddenly early Tuesday morning as a result of a heart attack and whose funeral was held yester-day afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from his residence at 1666 King street. The late Mr. Werlich was particularly well known throughout the business world, having been president of the Werlich Manufacturing Company at the time of his death. He was a member of both the I. O. O. F. and Masonic Orders and members of these respective lodges took part in the ceremony both at the residence and at the graveside. Rev. W. H. Knauff, pastor cif St. Peter's officiated at the services. At the residence the I. O. O. F. quartette composed of James Crawford, Walter Ruppell, Jack Watson and William Watson rendered a number, while members of the I. O. O. F. and Masonic orders formed a guard of honor through which the cartege passed. The floral tributes were many and beautiful marking the esteem in which the deceased was held by his many friends. At the graveside the Masonic Lodge was in charge of the service when the fellow members of the late Mr. Werlich paid their final respects. Pall bearers were: F. O. Pelz; R. S. Pollard, G. Weiberg, J. A, King, H. C. Edgar, A. Triller, M. Hannon of Galt; C. Schmaltz. Kitchener.
