- Louise died at her late home on South Chestnut street Friday morning of paralysis. During her illiness of more that a year she was a patient sufferer until her master called her home. She was born in Hergoththem, Mason, Germany and came to Berlin, Canada with her parents in 1849. She married Christian Dadles and came to Michigan in 1868 and located on their farm 5 1/2 miles south-west of town. With her husband she was one of the early pioneers of Richmond township and a member of the Evangelical church for many years. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother, leaving a heart broken husaband, two sons M. S. Dadles of Sioux City, Iowa and Joseph Dadles of Reed City, one daughter Mrs. George Ringler of Reed City, one brother Louis Keller of Reed City, one sister Mrs. Joseph Toman of Richmond township, eight grand-children. Two children died in infancy The beautiful flowers and the perfect day being typical of the life so peacefully and quietly brought to its full completion. Rev. Knechtel pastor preached the funeral sermon to an immense congregation. The burial was in the family lot beside her sleeping infants in beautiful Woodland cemetery. The pall bearers were old time friends of the deceased, and consisted of Joseph Ernest sr.,John Gerhardt, John Peppler, Henry Gerhardt, Michael Messner and B. G. Shomaker.
